The AOEP Executive are delighted with the outcome of the Preliminery poll which will lead to the election of Eircom pensioners as Trustees to the boards of the 2 Eircom pension funds. To succeed we need 25% of our approximately 12,000 pensioners to vote. Over 6,000 votes were submitted, over 50% of the total number of pensioners.
The result of the poll across both funds is :
Standard Alternative 71%
Alternative Arrangement 29%
The Standard Arrangement allows for up to 4 pensioners to the main fund and 3 to the No 2 fund. The Executive wishes to thank all pensioners, (AOEP members and non members) who voted. We will continue to work on your behalf.
