The AOEP is preparing a submission to the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Arts, Media Communications, Culture and Sport. The purpose is to highlight the significant deterioration in pension conditions experienced by eircom pensioners since the 2010 Defined Benefit Pension Accord. These changes have resulted in pension arrangements that are less favourable than those guaranteed under the P&T Services Act 1983. The committee will update you in due course.
