Update from Pat Doyle on the Plebescite to propose pensioners as Trustees to the Pension Funds.

Dear Colleagues,

I want to update you on the result of our recent Plebiscite seeking support for the appointment of an eir pensioner to the boards of both the Main Pension Fund and the No. 2 Fund. Our objective was to obtain a 15% response from the total of Pensioners in Pay and Active Members.  As you are aware members were provided with a number of voting options i.e. by Post, Email, WhatsApp and by using a link on the homepage of our website. In their enthusiasm some members have used more than one option. The response has been strong. I will update you later in the week when I have the accurate figure. Many thanks for your engagement in the process which is very much appreciated by The Executive.
